About Nourish

Nourish International is a nonprofit that envisions a world without extreme poverty. Nourish International engages students and empowers communities to make a lasting impact on extreme poverty through social entrepreneurship, community based sustainable development, and cross cultural exchange. Over the past year, Nourish has worked with 500 student entrepreneurs to implement 18 sustainable development in 12 of the poorest countries in the world. Nourish Student Ventures raised over $108,000 for project funding in 2012 to support strategic investments in communities lacking access to basic needs like food, water, shelter, and healthcare.

The problem: 870 million people undernourished, living on $1.25 a day or less. Students across the United States want to make a difference now.

The solution: Empowering students and communities to make a difference through social entrepreneurship.
